Y’all. I have a sponsor. Not like an AA sponsor. Like someone paid money for an ad on my blog. Can you believe it? I feel so official and blogger-y with my little $10 per month “salary.” The brilliant businesswoman who chose to partner with me is my girl Brandi. She runs a cute little etsy shop called “A Brandi Sized Shop.” She’s rather petite, like me, hence the reference to size. If you’re in search of a last minute Christmas gift you should go give her a look-see. Here are a few of my favorite things:
This card is cuuute and only $1.85 shipped. It would definitely add a little something special to the presentation of a gift card, particularly if the recipient is a fan of pink and/or polka dots. Come to think of it, I have someone fitting that description in my life. I may be ordering this myself. Good thing Brandi said she can whip up some more if folks are interested!
How sweet would this be in a nursery or little girl’s room?
I have been really into brass for some time now, and these swans are calling my name.
I just think this is so charming. And if you look at the picture of it opened up you can see that it’s got some really fun vintage graphics. Foxes are totally the new owl (read: adorable animal everyone’s obsessed with), so grab this book to lie lovingly upon a side table a la Pottery Barn or cut up the pages for some inexpensive art.
As a lover of all things vintage I can’t help but be charmed by these eighties-tastic Christmas cards. I feel like they’d be the perfect greeting if you’ve got just a few people on your list.
Brand is offering a special discount for Living Well on the Cheap readers. Just enter code “ABSSOTC” at checkout for 20% one item. She has lots more stuff so definitely go check her out!
PS if you’re interested in becoming a sponsor you can get all the details on my Advertise page.
Ok, now I feel really old. Seriously old. I actually taught out of that Lippincott book. It was old when I used it, but I certainly remember the pictures. I recognized some of the other vintage books from her site. I used to collect old school books, but much of my collection was ruined by water damage so I lost many of them.
Janet,
Thank you for your comment about my shop! Vintage books are always on my radar…the images are just so colorful and creative!
That’s so cool! I’m sorry to hear that you lost your collection. It’s never to late to start back up again!
Thank you so much, Charlotte, for featuring me!
Thank you so much for advertising with me!
