Will you be my Valentine?

Yes. Yes I will.

I really need to start watermarking photos I post of Jack before someone starts stealing them and using them in advertisements or to support their fake internet identity. He’s just so stinkin’ adorable, how could the weirdos resist?

Nick and I are not big on teddy bears and greeting cards, or anything that would just end up in the goodwill box or the trash, really, and although we do love a good restaurant meal we’re not keen on battling v-day crowds, either. ┬áSo I’ve requested a simple drugstore box of chocolates and Nick, predictably, has requested nothing (but I do hope to pick him up a little treat at the grocery store later today). I want to express my love and appreciation for each and every one of you who takes the time to read my blog and comment, like, share, or remark to me personally that you’ve enjoyed something I’ve written. It truly means so much to me. I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine’s Day, and whether you’ve got a sweetie or not know that I am sending you smooches!

  1. Hi! I found your blog recently and randomly, but I’m a local new mom too, and I just had to comment finally. Jack is just adorable and I love all your DIY and crafts that you post–you inspire me! Keep it up! :)

Hey Jenny! Thanks for commenting! I just took a gander at your blog and this is so random but I think maybe I went to grad school with your husband! Congrats to him on passing his LCSW exam! I’ve been putting off scheduling mine because I can’t imagine making time to study! Perhaps you and I can get together for a play date sometime!
