Eight Months Old

Even though it’s technically March 1st, it’s been 29 days since the start of February and thus today marks eight months since Jack was born.

He cut his first tooth this month! See it there on the bottom?

And learned to sit unassisted. Sorry for the blurry photo. He’s a busy boy!

And went to his first LSU baseball game.

He’s also been learning to feed himself. It’s a very messy affair.

It’s pretty much the best thing that’s ever happened to Juliet.

Life is good for the little man. He’s sleeping better, eating all kinds of good food, and learning so much about the world around him. He even got to pet Sheila the other day! He’s starting to scoot around on his belly, but he mostly just pivots–no traveling yet. Which is just fine with me. I’m totally savoring these last few weeks or months that he stays where I put him.

  1. My precious! Hard to believe it!

  2. He is adorable and growing so very fast. I love that he is eating with no shirt on. I did the same thing whenever it was warm enough. I agree with you on not being in a hurry for him to become mobile. Enjoy the tranquility while you can.

He is precious! Yay to sitting up on his own! And, I’m with you on the moving around thing. Once he starts, he won’t stop! They grow too fast!
