I can’t believe it, but somehow the end of February passed and I didn’t even notice that it marked two years that I’ve been blogging on this little corner of the interweb. Last year I made kind of a big deal about it. Nick bought me a burrito to celebrate. But this year I forgot all about it until yesterday when someone asked me how long I’d been blogging.
where the magic happens
Nick and I regularly congratulate ourselves on what a great idea it was to have a baby, but I don’t stop often enough to pat myself on the back for having the inspiration, courage, and motivation to start this blog and keep it going. It’s so much more than just a hobby for me. I treat it like a job and it pays me back big time, if not in actual money then in satisfaction and social connectedness. It seriously has been the most amazing thing for me. And the absolute best part is the people on the other side of the keyboard. Words can not express how much I appreciate each and every one of you that take the time to read what I’ve written. The comments, emails, and personal remarks letting me know you’ve enjoyed it are just the icing on the cake. I’m so lucky to have so many amazing people interested in keeping up with my little family and all my projects.
So thank you to all of you. You’ve impacted my life in ways you’ll never know. I think I’ll celebrate by spending some time outside on this beautiful day. I hope each of you has a fabulous Friday and a wonderful weekend, and if there’s something you’ve been thinking of doing but are scared to get started–do it! Starting this blog is one of the best decisions I ever made.
