Happy Friday, y’all! It seems like every day this week has felt like a Friday with this beautiful weather we’ve been having. I don’t know why nice weather = Friday in my mind but they just go together. And I am loving this time change business. Jack and I have been spending time outside every evening before Nick gets home. It’s so nice!
In case you haven’t heard, I recently started accepting sponsors on my blog–which basically means I offer space on my side bar for small businesses to advertise. This helps cover the costs of running the blog and maybe someday it’ll help pay for some hot glue sticks or something, but for now it pretty much just covers the cost of web hosting and for that I am thankful. Anyway, this month I am super excited because I have a NEW SPONSOR! Two blog sponsors! I’m in the big leagues now, y’all.
My new sponsor is Frankie, who hails from the Great White North and runs a fabulous etsy shop called Don’t Forget Your Face.
Frankie is A) hilarious, and B) very serious about what she sells! She’s worked hard to make everything in her shop safe, effective, and natural (she lists the ingredients on every product listing, and if you’ve got questions about any of them you can check out her shop policies, or contact her).
Her stuff is really reasonably priced–it’s great that you can get something all natural and created by a work at home mom for about the same price as conventional stuff sold in the drugstore.
I actually ordered some of this face lotion for myself! It just arrived yesterday and so far I am loving it! It’s got a really light lemon meringue scent and feels so refreshing on my face. I’d been using olive oil since I ran out of my drugstore moisturizer last week and this feels soooo much better.
With all the excitement of a new sponsor I can’t forget the original sponsor herself–Brandi of A Brandi Sized Shop. She’s got great vintage goodies for all tastes. Here are some of my favorites gracing her virtual shop shelves at the moment.
How sweet are these candle holders? If you are into seasonal table settings they would be perfect for Easter/spring. They’d also be really classy at a wedding (unity candle, anyone?).
More sweetness! I would put this bowl near an entryway to catch keys and spare change, but if I didn’t have pets who get into everything I’d fill it with nuts or m&m’s.
I’m totally waiting on avocado green to come back in style. This would look so groovy in even a modern kitchen for an eclectic look. I love the dark knob on top!
Thanks Brandi and Frankie for sponsoring me, and thanks to all you lovely readers for just being here! You totally make my blog world go ’round (and if I’m being honest, maybe even my real world a little bit). I hope you all have a wonderful weekend full of good luck and good fun!
PS–If you’re interested in becoming a sponsor you can get all the details on my Advertise page!
