I didn’t reach my goal of having everything in my shop listed by Thanksgiving, but I did get the last few items up yesterday and that’s pretty close, right? I take it easy with my shop the rest of the year but the holiday season is when I usually put on my big girl pants and get everything in order for seasonal sales. The shelves above my desk are packed full of pretties and every. single. one. is listed in the shop. I’ve been rewarded with a few sales already, so if you see something that strikes your fancy make your move before it’s gone!
It’s back to reality today as Nick is back to work and I’m on my own with a toddler and a massive to do list. I hope you each had a wonderful weekend and that the return to real life isn’t too miserable!
You offer a pleasing selection of “pretties” this season. I love vintage decor and creative up-cycling. The buttons make great magnets or push pins. I am tempted, but am trying to down-size after my last parent’s passing. Always welcome to earn an extra buck, but I’m not so courageous or much of an entrepreneur. At this stage, I would even be pleased with finding a good home for items that I am most sentimental about. Hard to separate the emotion from stuff sometimes, especially when someone you loved spent so much time collecting and curating something over several decades. Hope you’re successful with your sales. I enjoy reading your updates.
You’re so right about sentimental stuff! Have you ever heard of Flylady? She has good tips for sorting through late relatives’ belongings.
