On The Road Again

I really don’t like to travel. I prefer to stay close to home, and if I am going to pack up and head out I want to go to the beach. But Nick really enjoys this sort of thing and he doesn’t ask for much so I indulge him. We’re off to Austin again to visit friends and family and eat crawfish, of all things (why we would travel to Texas from Louisiana for a crawfish boil is beyond me). As stressful as I find the packing, the driving, the making arrangements for pets, I do enjoy spending time with my favorites without the distraction of a looming to do list. My posts may be sporadic through the rest of the week, but it’s worth it to get some quality family time. I hope that when we get back I’ll be motivated to tackle some of the projects I’ve been putting off!

Preparing for roadtrips can be stressful, but it can be a wonderful way to travel and see different parts of the country. Taking a roadtrip with a toddler can be even more challenging, but it is far easier to deal with any fuss where you can pull over (instead of being stuck on an airplane). Your projects will wait for you. Enjoy your adventure! Traveling grace to you!

Thanks so much! I usually enjoy myself once I get there. We’ve had a great time!

  2. Sounds like an INFJ to me. ;)
